Collab build with my husband, Sean. We developed a custom Android application using Unity to make a replica of Honey Lemon’s purse such that it had custom lighting and trigger effects based on events that we went to (Anime Expo, and later Disneyland - heavily inspired by Disney’s Paint the Night parade costumes.)
We also created our own Arduino application also the handled intake of two main triggers - Bluetooth (from our Android app) and IR. This was integrated into PCB and sensor hardware we took apart from from “Magic Paintbrushes” sold at the parks for Glow with the Show to interact with Adafruit NeoPixels.
Our own designed LED choreography was the default state where I can toggle that with a mode such that Disney park guests could also trigger lighting effects on my costume.
